A Waiting Game (For the US Only)
It’s been a while since I gave you an update on our natural pain relief balm. Many of you have been patiently waiting — and asking when you can finally get your hands on Ramedica Herbal Wonder Balm in the US. Today, I want to share exactly where we stand, why it’s taking time, and express my gratitude to you all for your support and patience. Your emails and messages have meant the world to me! ❤️

In the United States: we’re asking for a little more patience as we wait for the FDA to announce the OMUFA (Over-the-Counter Monograph User Fee Act) fees for fiscal year 2026, which officially begins October 1. Really — it should be any day now. Until that announcement is made and the fee is paid, our hands are tied and we can’t ship to the US. That said, you can preorder now, and we’ll ship as soon as the FDA makes its announcement.
Why the Wait in the US?
Our FDA consultants confirmed the situation in their last update:
“FDA has begun the statutorily-directed negotiation process for developing recommendations to reauthorise OMUFA for fiscal years (FYs) 2026 through 2030. Minutes from each FDA meeting with industry will be posted once available. As of this date, there is no update.”
And just to reassure you — there’s no problem with the balm or our facility. Production is underway, and our manufacturing site is already FDA OTC-certified.
Here’s the distinction:
Companies that paid the OMUFA fees for FY 2025 can continue operating in the US this year.
As a new registrant, we can only pay the fee for FY 2026 — and those fees haven’t been announced yet.
Once they are, we’ll pay immediately and move forward with US distribution. I posted the full story a few months ago – you can read the blog post and watch the video here.
